Wee Notions PeaPods are topped with 100% cotton fabric.

The back of the PeaPod pad (which sits against your underwear) is made from Fleece. The middle of the pad is made of several layers of Organic Cotton Jersey, according to the thickness of pad you use. The top of the pad (that sits against your skin) is in all cases 100% cotton although some pads have flat cotton on them and some have flannel tops. the pads with flannel tops have this info clearly marked in the information on the product.

Flannel cotton is slightly different from flat cotton it has a slight pile that comes from brushing the fabric and it also has a wider weave which makes it slightly thicker. 

These pads can be used as menstrual pads or for stress incontinence. They work very well for stress incontinence as no fluid can pass straight through the central Pod of the PeaPod. The central Pod of the PeaPod has 3 layers. Top layer that goes against your skin in 100% cotton, the middle absorbent area is Organic Cotton Jersey and the lower layer is a PUL waterproof but breathable layer. 

Any fluid that penetrates the top of the pad is wicked along the length of the pad. If there is any overflow it will not be through the middle pod of the pad but over the sides. If you experience any overflow you will probably need a size up in the thickness of your pad and if our heaviest pad is not suitable for you - there is a good chance that what you are suffering from isn't stress incontinence.
