Eco Femme Pads and Liners

Eco Femme is a global women’s empowerment initiative, rising from rural India, reaching out to women around the world.  Eco Femme promotes and revitalises menstrual practices that are healthy, dignified, affordable and eco positive.

Eco Femme pads:

• have a beautiful, soft, absorbent flannel cotton top layer, absorbent inner core of cotton flannel layers, PUL leakproof layer and exotic Indian stripy fabric on the back.
• Are easy to care for – the PUL layer is designed to last for approx 75 washes but could be replaced to prolong the life of the pads.
• Products are attractively packaged in recycled cardboard (no plastic!) and come with a care and instruction card available in 5 different languages (English, French, Spanish, German and Italian).
• Are all stitched by members of womens self-help groups who are in the process of establishing their own production unit. Women are paid a per piece rate for products and are able to stitch many other products at an export quality.
