Now made in the UK!
CJ’s BUTTer® was originally created to be the very best all-natural, cloth nappy safe cream ever. It is internationally recognised as such, but it is also so very much more.
CJ’s BUTTer® is made with all natural ingredients and has been used as a deep healing balm. It has been reported to be effective in treating such skin troubles as: eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, very dry/chapped skin, mechanic’s hands, hang nails, cuticles, dry/cracked feet, bug bites, cold sores, hair conditioning treatment, sunburn pain and peeling, allergy rash and itchiness, wind burned cheeks, alligator elbows, incontinence protection, Haemorrhoids, itchy pregnant tummies, nappy rash, cradle cap, stretch marks and much more! CJ’s BUTTer® quickly absorbs into the skin and goes to work making skin healthy.
Ingredients:
Shea Butter
Olive Oil
Coconut Oil
Lanolin oil
Beeswax
Cocoa Butter
Vitamin E (Tocopherol)
Colloidal Oatmeal
Scent is either all natural fragrance OR essential oil/essential oil blends OR synthetic fragrance
For sensitive skin we always recommend unscented options rather than fragranced options, and for very dry or sensitive skin, you might want to try the BUTTer Plus.
Should you find that your CJ's BUTTer becomes a bit separated and/or grainy, don't worry, there is nothing wrong with your BUTTer. Since there is no kind of stabiliser added to the formulation and all the products are all natural, BUTTer will sometimes need a little more TLC than we are accustomed to in commercial products or those with all the ingredients you can’t pronounce! Shea butter will sometimes become grainy due to the heat during transit in the summer or because of temperature fluctuations. It’s not a problem, unless you don’t like it. If you’d prefer your BUTTer to be creamy, just remove the cap and microwave it for about 45-60 seconds (standing up in a microwave-safe cup if it’s a tube). Then replace the cap and shake the bottle well or stir well if it’s a jar or tub. Place it in the freezer to re-harden and it should be smooth and creamy again. Melting the BUTTer melts the crystals in the shea butter and cooling it quickly in the freezer keeps the crystals from reforming.
